Vermeer paintings exhibited in: Louvre

The Louvre in Paris, or as the French say Musée du Louvre (officially it would be Grande Louvre, anyhow) would not merit it’s reputation if it had not at least two Vermeers in his collection. Those are the Lacemaker and The Astronomer. Sculptures of Michelangelo or paintings by Rembrandt as well as the likewise with the Netherlands associated Peter Paul Rubens are just a few examples of the other treasures to be discovered in the vast collection containing over 35,000 objects.
