Paris, the Capital of France attracts mainly with the Louvre. Currently is holds among 35.000 other objects also two paintings by Vermeer: The Lacemaker and The Astronomer. Beside the Louvre Paris features a vast number of other museums worth to be visited, among them the Musée d’Orsay (featuring many Monet paintings, but also Van Gogh’s Starry Night Over the Rhone.. Definitely a must!
